On arrival at Chandigarh airport meet with Raheja Vacations representative, who will introduce you with your Pilot driver and brief you about your tour “12 Days Ladakh Panorama Tour”. Now proceed to Manali by drive (9hrs. approx.), on arrival check in at hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Manali.
Post breakfast (early) leave for Serchu by drive. Driving across Rohtang Pass (13050 ft) and passing through Keylong, Jispa and Dracha and then cross the Baralacha Pass (16020 ft) to arrive at Serchu in the late afternoon. Transfer to fixed camp for stay. Overnight at fixed camp in Sarchu.
Post breakfast(early) leave for Leh, enroute crossing Nakeela and Lachalung-la Pass (16,617 ft.). Enjoy lunch at Pang and continue drive towards Leh, passing through Skyangchu Thang (a vast plateau stretching for 42 kms) and then crossing Taglang-La (17,585ft) and driving through the upper Indus Valley. Reach Leh by evening. Overnight at hotel in Leh.
Post breakfast free at leisure. Afternoon visit Shanti Stupa. Drive back to hotel. Evening free for own activities. Overnight at hotel in Leh.
Early departure for Pangong Lake (approx. 145 kms, located on the Indo China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft). After full day of sightseeing around the Lake check-in at fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or drive back for 30 kms to Tangtse and transfer to hotel for smooth check in. Overnight at hotel in Pangong.
Post breakfast leave Pangong / Tangtse and drive back to Leh route across Chang-la. Upon reaching Karu, across the Indus and visit famous Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery of Ladakh. Continue drive to Leh enroute visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel in Leh.
Post breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, enjoy sightseeing of Sumoor area and Samstaling Gompa. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit / Hundar. Overnight at fixed camp / hotel in Nubra Valley.
Post breakfast visit Deskit , Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Now drive to Leh, on arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Leh.
Post breakfast leave for Alchi / Uleytokpo on the first leg of the journey to Kargil and Srinagar. On the way visit Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Point, Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers) and then the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic complex famous for its wall frescoes and architecture - a UNESCO listed heritage site. On arrival check in fixed camp / resort at Uleytokpo. Overnight at Uleytokpo.
Post breakfast leave for Kargil. On the way you can visit the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining Moonland hills. Later drive towards Kargil enroute viewing the 9-Mtrs. tall rock sculpture of the Maitreya Buddha at Mulbek (7th –8th century AD). On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel at Kargil.
Early departure for Srinagar driving through Drass (famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world) and crossing the Zoji-la Pass (11,500-ft. / 3,505 m) to reach Sonamarg from where it’s a smooth 2 hour drive to Srinagar through the beautiful Kashmir countryside. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel in Srinagar.
Post breakfast fee at leisure. Transfer to airport to board the flight for onwards journey.
