On arrival at Leh airport meet with Raheja Vacations representative, who will introduce you with your Pilot driver and brief you about your trekking tour “ Indus Valley Trekking Tour”. Now proceed to hotel for smooth check in . Rest of the day for complete rest as acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs).
Overnight in hotel in Leh.
Post breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Likir by drive (2hrs. approx.). On arrival check in at camp. Later visit Likir Gompa which was established around 15th Century. Likir belongs to yellow hat sects of Buddhism which houses around 120lamas. Overnight at Likir in camp.
Post breakfast leave for Yangthang through small passes. Likir to Yangthang you cross Phobe la (3700m) and Charatse La(3800m), it will all together takes 4 to 5 hrs to reach Yangthang. On arrival check in at your camp . Day at leisure. Overnight at Yangthan in camp.
Today take excursion trip to Rizong gompa which will take 5 to 6 hours (round trip), set in beautiful mountains. Rizong is a new monastery which has 30 lamas at present, it was founded in 1829. Return to the campsite. Overnight at Yangthan in camp.
Leave Yangthang to Hemis Shukpachan (5hrs trek) which is a pleasant village popular for its Juniper trees. You cross other two small passes to reach the campsite. Overnight at Hemis Shukpachan in camp.
Today leave for Themisgam by 3 hours trek. On arrival check in at your camp and then explore the Palace and village. Overnight at Themisgam in camp.
Today our vehicle awaits here to take you back to Leh by drive (6hrs. approx..), on arrival transfer to airport for further journey.
